2012 Update:
- In 2009 Alawa became a Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Program Demonstration School. We hosted a community information session and the community designed the new student kitchen was built in July 2009. Students in years 3-6 participate in kitchen and garden lessons.
- Electronic Student Profiles (ESP) are used at Alawa, for Semester Reporting. Parents access student reports electronically or can request a hard copy.
