In the spotlight

Nemarluk Senior Teacher Hennie Duncan, through one of their teachers, was able to invite Alawa Primary School students to experience a defence helicopter land for a visit.

They landed on our oval, accompanied by a ground party with the unit mascot, Penny, a peregrine falcon. The students were able to go inside the helicopter and look around.
