Discovering the world through hands on Science

At Alawa, we make science hands-on and exciting.  We use an Inquiry approach, allowing students to learn by asking questions, exploring ideas, and discovering answers for themselves. Science is also a big part of our STEM program (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics), so children often get to experiment and create in our dedicated STEM space.

Through science, students:

Grow their curiosity about the world and learn to ask great questions.

Build strong knowledge in areas like biology, earth and space, physics, and chemistry.

Learn how scientists work by planning and carrying out experiments and investigations.

Our goal is to spark a lifelong love of science and help students see how it connects to their everyday lives and future opportunities.
